You called me what?????

The other day I was shopping at my local grocery store picking up a few items for the week.  Normally, I avoid grocery shopping on Saturdays, but I knew I had a busy week a head, so I planned accordingly.   I grab a rolling cart and head into the store.  I was deciding on what tuna to buy when this man asked me to move the cart because he could not get through.   The thing is the use to work within a grocery store and my pet peeve is leaving the cart in the center of the aisle.  So checked the positioning of the cart and there was room enough for him to pass.  However, to be accommodating, I made eye contact with the man and adjusted the cart. I did not engage him, but I did keep an eye on him because he felt like he wanted to cause trouble.

And he did just that, caused trouble.  See because I did not speak to him, he took offense and as a result called me the "n"word and threaten to do me harm.

I replied to him and informed the store manager, and subsequently  filed a police report.
I have not gotten over it and I do not think I will nor should I.  This behavior has been on the rise as of late and it is not acceptable.
I have not determine what my personal course of action will be, but there will be a response.  No one should ever feel this free to exhibit that type of behavior.
